***Terry*** and Power-Charged Elbow

By 1sanik, in UFS Rules Q & A

P-C E - While this card is in your card pool after you have played it as an attack, your vitality gains may not be cancelled.

***Terry*** - E Commit: If your attack deals damage, gain X vitality. X equals double the amount of damage your attack deals.

If I'm playing as Terry and play Power-Charged Elbow, then later on want to use Terry's enhance, can his enhance be negated as it is not gaining him vitality when it's used, it only sets him up to gain vitality? Or is it not able to be cancelled because it has the potential to gain him vitality?

Also, unrelated, if someone uses Power Dunk's enhance, can it result in a double KO? IE, someone is on 2 vitality, their opponent (who played Power Dunk) is on 5, the first player plays an attack doing 8 damage, it kills their opponent. Does the game end here, leaving player 1 the winner, or does the 2 damage from Power Dunk go through and make it a double KO?

For the first questions I believe that they CAN cancel the enhance because at that point you are not gaining vitality.

for power dunk Player 1 wins. Because right when a players vitality hits 0 the game ends, therefore being unable to finish the effect of power dunk

I could be wrong, but after being successfully played any resolution of the enhance on Power Dunk is floating, and not a response, so it still happens even if the vitality loss reduces the opponent to zero the enhances resolution still goes off kiling the other player as well.

Correct. The card text says after the attack deals damage.

Once the attack deals damage, and reduces a player to 0, they are dead.

8.3.3.13 If a player is reduced to 0 vitality during this step, they lose the game. Proceed to 10.0 Ending the Game.

10. Ending the game (Winning and Losing)
The game ends immediately if any of the following occurs:
10.1 If a player is reduced to zero vitality, that player immediately loses the game.

ok, the question about power dunk is solved, but what about the 1st question, about power-charged elbow, what happens then?
