With all the 7/20 characters being played these days, I was just thinking about Domination + Hugo. Do you think this combo is viable? If some how 1st turn you drew into dominace and was about to get 3 more foundations 2nd turn would be a 20 dmg+ attack with whatever speed O_O;;
Hugo + Dominaton
I assume you mean Domination.
We thought about it when Huitzil first came out. With Hugo's own earth foundation support it is possible but I don't know about viable.
Definitaly viable and practical.
As long you have the set up within the first two turns of using Huge Wrestling Army... I think that's what it's called... and then Hulking Brute to draw your cards consistantly for whatever set up needed then you playout the Butt Slam through or any throw period of cheap control and dish out around 20-25 damage on addition.
My roommate an I practiced that, since he's a HUGE earth player
Hey ron do you have dominations i can borrow?
lol
I have some, but roommate is using them and will not part from...
Personally I like Aura Soul Throw. It's Death, but it's a very cheap throw and it's cc can't be modified by your opponents shenanigans.
the one card I definitly miss the most is Star of The Ring
give any midzone attack Throw... oh yeah
teeheehee
Screw doing it with Hugo, just use it as an alternate win condition in Sagat. Oh, they Holding Ground'd my Tiger Fury? And it put them at 14? Okay I'll play this Flooded Nile Throw and use 2x Domination, 1M32 gg?
Yes, this is most definately viable, in fact I use it myself. My deck runs all of 8 attacks, all throws, so I can even drop a street life first turn as well have a solid 4 or 5 foundations out and then dominate, hugo E with a streetlife turn 2 for 42 damge against a 20 hp character or more against those pesky hildes.
Domination Hugo is extremely viable. I honestly feel it's one of his base combos and one that you slap yourself over not seeing it the first time around. The problem lies in getting Domination on higher vitality characters, as you have to smack them in the face prior to activating it.
But yes, on a Throw, it is painful. VERY painful.

Blocked with Lumber Axe, lol.
Do you guys play Domination as an enhance or form? I'm curious since there was a question in Q&A but hasn't been stamped yet.
It's an Enhance, although just to be completely safe from rules lawyers you could declare your intention to use it before you play your attack.

It's been errated.
But good luck trying to find the errata. I can't remember it. IIRC it was a form with "Your next attack."
This combo is made of win, guys. Thanks for posting this. And *facepalm to self for not seeing it before*.

Is it errated, it is a cool card ala Sasquatch promo. I hope it gets added to the errata list

I remember hearing about that, but after 30 pages of looking I gave up.
Having been on the receiving end of this combo a couple of times: No sir, I don't like it.
In theory, it seems too resource-intensive to pull off consistently, but Hugo has card draw. Domination Hugo can catch you by surprise, even if it's staring you in the face, because chances are, you won't have a convenient answer for a 30 damage throw on turn 2.
Is it broken? Absolutely not- just punch the big lug in the face a few times, and there goes that damage pump. (Most Hugo decks I have faced haven't been all that great about blocking.)
Still, as the hand-size-to-vitality ratio dips below 7/20, this will put fear Hilde players...
my hugo sometimes has 2-3 cards left even after playing 4-5 cards on my turn. I play off all and i save a hukling brute to draw after i block o_O
