When a player reveals "The Story Continues..." Mythos Card, and there are currently three separate Mythos cards 'in play' ~ An Environment, a Rumor, and a Headline ~ does the player ...

a. Shuffle all of the cards, including those Environment and Headline cards already turned over ('out of play'), but not 'in play' cards or Pass[ed]/Fail[ed] Rumor cardspreviously returned to the box;

b. Shuffle all of those mentioned in a. above to include Rumor cards returned to the box

c. All of a. above and currently 'in play' Environment & Headline Mythos cards (not to include the Rumor, which remains 'in play')

d. ???

I'm leaning towards A) shuffle none of the "in play" back, because Story Continues says: "Shuffle the mythos deck, being sure to include this card in it". Cards on the table aren't mentioned. Not sure what you mean by "already turned over ('out of play')" though, when you discard a Mythos card, it goes to the bottom of the Mythos deck, hence is still in the deck. Rumors when Pass/Failed get returned to the box, and don't return in that game, everything else eventually returns to the Mythos deck (though I think there are some encounters that allow you to remove Mythos cards).

Yeah, the Mythos deck is just the current Mythos deck, cards that aren't in the deck (except TSC) aren't added before shuffling.

We've been turning the 'replaced' Environment and Headline Mythos cards over so we can count how many turns we've played at the end of a session/game. But, you're right, all cards (save for those currently 'in play' and discarded [to the box] Rumor cards) get shuffled.
