Well there was one. I own a copy myself. Aren't they going to print new ones?
Yes they are. At least it's what they say in the category "Upcoming":
Dark Heresy: The Inquisitor's Handbook
FFG is out of stock and is currently reprinting this item. Distributors and retailers may still have stock of this item.
Ready your bolter and fulfil your destiny! ...
They do not directly talk about a hardback, but afaik it's the only version they still produce.

I thought so too at first. Then I went to buy my own copy (having previously used my friends softcover copies) and boy was I happy to see that the store had just gotten hardcover copies.

My local FLGS may have a few, I'm not sure.
Hmm, maybe I should get one before they're all gone... I have the softback, but...

But you're a nerd, just like the rest of us. And you need to have the hardcover edition as well, am I right?
If you look in the corner or on the back of your soft cover IH or PtU you will see no Fantasy Flight Games Markings. The soft covers are the original Black Industries versions.
I just bought it and it is a hardback and it contains the errata.
