Having looked at quite a few different threads on these forums, I've noticed that people have become more negative than usual (and from what I've seen, thats quite a difficult feat to accomplish). Forgive me for being 'that guy', but people need to be a little more positive when it comes to this game, as while it might not seem so, there's actually still a lot to be positive about.
Putting it another way, I've just spent 600 pounds on a flight to Indianapolis so that I can participate in UFS Worlds, and am very much looking forward to it, and meeting everyone who plays over there, but when I look at the forums sometimes, it worries me that I'm going to be travelling into an environment where nobody really wants to play. So forgive me if I want some reassurance on this front.
That, in itself, is a positive, Worlds is coming up, where we can forward our worries to the FFG staff themselves if there are any, and I, for one, am really looking forward to meeting all you guys so I can know who's who in the world of UFS. The bannings have changed the meta for the better, I think almost everyone can agree, and Worlds will be the biggest and best way of seeing how everyone has changed the way they play.
From the looks of things, most certainly from our point of view in the UK, the Fight Night kits have proven to be pretty successful. I have posted one with people already having booked up to play in another on Friday, with more people still wanting more. It's a fantastic way for people to be brought into UFS, and it has worked magnificently.
Tekken has been brought into UFS fairly recently, and forgive me if I'm wrong, but why would Namco want to put more of their licences into UFS if they didn't think it was doing well enough for them to make any money out of it? It's something that many players have been excited about for at least a year or two, and we're finally getting it in the next few weeks. The release date has jumped about quite a bit, yes, but whats to say people can't wait a week or two with the meta having changes as massively as it did because of June/July's state of the game?
So, as far as I can see it, I think it's about time people stopped b****ing quite so much and had some bloody fun for a change. Stop focusing so much on what you want to see improved and enjoy yourself. Surely it can't be that difficult?
