When I played this card when it first came out, the first ability on Rock would give difficulty to blocks if they tried to block with a non-attack card. With the recent rule changes, does the card still work this way?

Actually it never should have worked that way.

Card difficulty and Block difficluty are not the same. That's been around since the start of the game when Sentient Appliance modified card difficulty but not block difficulty.

Ah well I guess no one ever played it that way even at tournaments before. At least not the ones I went to a while back.
