GenCon, so close, yet so far...

By JChang, in UFS General Discussion

First of all, I just want to say good luck to everyone who is attending worlds at gencon. I was planning on attending and was excited about the whole thing, but sadly due to my work and not being able to get my vacation days off on that week I will not be attending. I know I've said to a few people at some point that I was going to be there and I just want to say sorry that I will not be going. I really did want to go and see everyone again, from new faces to old faces and being at gencon for the first time also.

With that said, I also wanted to say that going to worlds would've been my last big event for tournament play. I'm planning on putting this game on hold for a while and I'm not sure for how long or if I'm ever coming back. I know for sure that I will always be around at my local playing with my friends every now and then for sure. But to travel and be at the more bigger events, I guess I am done for now. I've had fun playing all the players that I've come across. Meeting everyone for the first time at MWCC and other events that I've gone to up until now has been a great experience. The players are great, people are nice, and the events are always fun. I know most of you probably don't know me, because you never met me or I was never able to get around to everyone to talk to everyone, or a major part was, I was half asleep at every event that I've gone too, but if MWCC continues to be held around my area and it's not a great distance to go too, maybe I'll see you there.

I am excited for Tekken though. That is a game I've played for a long time now. I haven't played much, but I am thrilled that it's finally come to UFS and we are getting it. Though it feels as it came too late. Well...

Good luck to everyone!!...
