So, I'm heading to Austin today, and I decided that I wanted to make something a little different than what I've been playing.. Sogetsu.

I used to have a Zi Mei deck that I took to Throwdown that I felt did pretty decent in teams.. not as well as I would've liked, but still was a lot of fun to play.

One of my friends in our playgroup was originally going to play Fei Long for Throwdown, but ended up playing the now banned Chunners instead.. I kinda got the idea to play Fei Long from him, after taking a look at Zi Mei's support. Putting the two together sounded pretty easy at the time, but alas, I didn't have the cards for it. Now I do, so I decided to make Fei Long.

I'm kind of unsure on a few things that I've got in the deck, but it seems like it runs pretty good. Going to play it in Austin, so I'll find out I guess.. haha.

Basically what I'm aiming to do with this is to get Natural Leader out preferrably first turn, if not White Magic. Gain a fair amount of momentum, and then attack with either the Execution Techniques or FotA. Fei Long will clear my pool so I can play more crap out of my hand. If I've got Nursing a Grudge out it'll help me pull back up a FotA or one of the Rites due to the fact they all have the weapon keyword. I know one card that could help me would be Path of the Master.. I don't have one naturally, which is why Lynette's is in there. Hopefully my oppenent will pull one out, and then I can laugh at them for it. *cough*Wakeen*cough*

Anywho, let me know what needs to be added and or taken out.

Totally forgot to mention that I have Dariya sided in as well as Gorgeous Team. Thought it would be kinda funny to use against Wakeen or someone..

Yea, buddy! 4.Fei off Air with Zi Mei's support is kinda good! I ran a deck very similar to this one Pre-Bans and Erratas, so obviously LoTM was a HUGE proponent for making this deck work, since momentum is somewhat importante.

I don't have any suggestions for you, since this deck looks ready kill someone! lolz!

Uhm, maybe, tho, as an experiment try running this attack lineup and see if it ain't just as fun:

4x FotA, 4x 1st Rite, 3x Double Gale Fist, 3x Zi Mei's Wheel Kick

Notice how 3 sets of those cards causes Stun? Basically, play the Stun attacks and commit your opponent's board. Maybe include Mentally Unstable to pick up said attacks from your cardpool. Then, since you'll have momentum with this deck, use Fei's ability to clear your card pool, and then start droppin' bombs with FotA's after you've committed out your opponents staging area. It was a fun trick that worked really well with my version of Fei.

Also, have you tried using Stand Off in this deck? Can be kinda good when you really need to push damage thru.

Yeah, I saw your post as well. I liked your deck too. Kinda drew a little inspiration from it too, haha!

As far as FotA goes, I only have 3.. I was going to buy four when they first came out due to the fact that they were only a dollar-ish, but I ended up being stupid and bought 3. D: Hoping to find someone that has something to trade in Austin for one.. hopefully. I really don't want to pay the 20 dollars that Coolstuff has it for..

As far as your attack lineup goes, I think it would be nifty to play around with, but I haven't even playtested this version out yet, so when I do, I let you know how it goes.

Also, Stand Off is a great card... that I don't have.. I may try and nab some out of prize support.

I'd like to run King of Fighters 2006 as well, but I don't have any of those either.. haha. Plus I really like Natural Leader.

Tbh, my attack line up was thought up because i wanted to try something else besides the 3 Rites, which SHOULD be played if you have them; they're that good and can kill most characters in one turn.

Lemme know how this deck works out for you. Most players hate on Fei, so i'm always happy when someone else discovers that, esp now, he's become a viable threat!

I definitely will try your attack lineup at some point. The only problem with that is that the majority of the people in my playgroup run Torn Hero, which needless to say makes things a wee bit difficult, especially since I usually only have 4 or 5 foundations out. It's really all you need out, but still.. Don't want them being committed.. haha

So, actually did pretty ok at Austin with it. I switched out 4 whitie magics for some King of Fighters, and it worked rather nicely. I think I did fairly well considering that they were kinda playing legacy.. >.>

Against standard decks though it was great. My only real problem is enhance negation.. but that's a problem that most everyone runs into I think.

Definitely need to get some Inhuman Perceptions in there.

On a side note, I played Rock wrongly...or rather it seems the rules have changed.
