I've fallen in love with the picture of the Dire Avenger in Creatures Anathema (page 79) and I'm looking for someway to use it as my wallpaper. Anyone know where I can get ahold of it? I've tried searching the web, this forum and deviant art but as there is no creator written (anywhere I can find at least) I have had no luck. and my scanner is crap so I've tried and ditched that approached.

What I can tell you is that this picture was originally the cover for one of the Inquisiton War Triology books, but I was unable to find it in wallpaper size.

The BL has a pretty extensive collection of desktop wallpapers from their book covers.
It is a rather spiffy picture by Clint Langely (the fellow who did the front covers of many of the DH books) of Me'lindi the assassin disguised as an eldar iirc.

Yes they seem to have modified the background somewhat for whatever strange reason (to make it more arty?). I'm afraid the only other way you'll get an unsullied version of the picture is by getting a print (if there are any around) or scanning it out of the book.

As far as I know the Dire Avenger you refers to is Clint Langleys artwork produced primary for Dark Millenium WH40k CCG and it´s also present in Art Of Clint Langley by Black Library. To be honest I don´t know about any wallpaper form of this picture, but after I return from Greece (in some ten days), I try to do something with it:-)
