Does Aura 4 mean that that an enemy figure loses 4 wounds when moving into an adjacent space to a figure with Aura 4, or does it mean that an enemy figure loses 1 wound when moving into any space within 4 spaces of a figure with aura 4.

I couldn't find this in the rules. I'm sure it's there I just can't find it.

We were just about to start a game and my girlfriend didn't believe that I would get the answer within 30 minutes. It took much less.

Aura only affects adjacent spaces BUT there are other special abilities of certain bosses (and other BAMFs) that extend this aura damage to two squares or more. This is an exception moreso than the rule tho...
