Astrid + Ready for Battle = Hot.
Mini-block format.
the Lu Chen E Commit: asset is crazy good with Lu Chen.

Fixed for Troofs
Crown of the Forgotten Secret is god-tier, Menuett Dance full multiple? Ok, I'll take 12 without even moving any of my cards...
I just noticed something while looking through THD, and that's that a lot of the character's symbol spreads match around 11 other characters (ie, they share at least 1 symbol with 10 other people, so your potential deck size could be 16 cards/character * 11 characters = 178), but not all of them... dunno if someone else already noticed it, but it might be useful for ranking purposes, no?
Top tier:
Astaroth - 12
Ragnar - 12
Mid tier
Tira - 11
Rashotep - 11
Zi Mei - 11
Nightmare - 11
Temujin - 10
Siggy - 10
Low tier
Astrid - 9
Ivy - 9
Hilde - 9
Zhao Daiyu - 9
Cervantes - 8
Yi Shan - 8
"Ow" tier
Algol - 7
Lu Chen - 7
So if you want a big card pool, try out Astaroth or Ragnar, or Tira and her 7HS+plenty of options.

Yeah character specific abilities and cards tend to do that in Set 12.
Except for Yi Shan's.
Also, we banned POTM from our miniblock tournaments. The boost makes it too easy to OTK.
Oh man, I LOVE the new Shadowar assets.
My Lu Chen/Yi Shan runs all of the appropriate themed assets, and there are two ( Monastery of Mt. Lao and Robes of the Grandmaster ) that I ALWAYS want out. Those free speed and damage boosts really add up, especially on attacks that started out as weenie attacks.
When running Yi Shan, I also really want to get Pendant of the Western Paradise into play by 2nd turn if possible, for its recursion.
Rashotep's assets ( Bracers of Horus and Set and The Double Crown of Egypt ) are also must-haves in a Rashotep deck. The bracers help any throw deck, but the free E makes them worth it for Rashotep. The "Only playable during your attack" hurts the Double Crown, but if we get some reversals in his symbols (I'm hoping King or Nina will help) it would be especially useful. As is, it's great anti-control to prevent them from doing mean things on your turn that might stifle your crushing throws.

Honestly the Monastery, for Yi Shan, I find extremely lackluster. The Scroll is fine.
