A fun little list I've been toying with since getting the Y-Wing. Only 3 ships, but what do y'all think?

I think C is great and obviously synergizes with adv sensors, but having no way to modify attack dice won't cut it. Have you tried it with FCS? With target locks all the time, you can still boost and evade, but you're still doing damage. S-loops aren't as fancy with this set up but o think it'd be worth it.

And with that final point, you could upgrade the blaster to an ion, and offer more consistent damage as well as a control element.

Never mind, your list is 101 points. You'd have to drop down to FCS just to make it legal.

i have a very similar list:

THug+autoblaster turret+title+unhinged

Guri+autpthrusters+pred

IGC+PTL+AS+AT

IT may seem like the autoblaster turret is hard to use in this list on the thug. However, the stratagem is to plow forward with the thug much like a pulling guard in football and clog up the middle blocking lanes. when youre in close with that double tap its nice. Guri and IG skirt the periphery

This is not a bad list at all, except for Push the Limit on IG :P

It doesn't work well, despite all the greens, because there are no hard turn greens. And once you s-loop once, you are always struggling to use your advanced sensors after that. Predator or perhaps outmanoeuvre would be better.

i like the PTL on the C. you cant use it every round but for just the right round. That round you will get four actions and should put a hurt on somebody. ive tried outmanuver but havent had a lot of chances to use as people tend to focus on the IG rather than my other ships. Predator might get more use but those rounds in which you get four actions are nice. may be a toss up IMO

Here's the problem with Push the Limit: you use it with advanced sensors + a green move for no stress, so its going fine, but then you have to k-turn/s-loop and take a stress. Next turn, you have to do a green to clear the stress and cannot use advanced sensors. Also, now you cannot k-turn/s-loop until a turn when you don't use PtL, but with pressure on, you feel you need the extra action just to survive. Also, limited to green moves means your very predictable, so your opponent seems to always have you in arc and is getting shots (which exacerbates the problem).

at the 40 point range, you'd probably be better off with a MM with expert handling and the K4 even with the lower pilot skill

it's a ship that can reposition and still modify its attack, or a pull a focus + TL shot, and block like an absolute nightmare

How can you get 4 actions with PTL on C? At most you can get is 3. Boost + Evade + then PTL for Focus or TL.

Green isnt as predicatable with an IG since most of his dial is green

this isn't quite true actually, unless it's just a matter of distance

the IG's giant base and single arc places a massive emphasis on how it is able to turn on every given round. Limiting yourself to only forwards and banks, regardless of speed, is...well, limiting. Boost can help course correct, but the giant size of the base means you're going to go flying in the direction you move, making it quite likely to either overshoot or invalidate the boost by knocking into an obstruction or ship.
