question about multiples

By supereece, in UFS Rules Q & A

ive come up with this strategy whilst creating an elena deck until i hit a snag, someone i play with tells me it doesn't work but i thought id double check before i toss it out the window cause it never hurts to double check so here goes.

say i use needs no ally and give my elena a third symbol and then play an attack that matches all three symbols that elena has, now let's say i discard one momentum and give it the keyword multiple: 1. now heres the snag, originally i thought to give the multiple that was produced the keyword multiple via elena's technique but when it came up in gameplay, the dude i was playing says that it wouldn't work cause the multiple is supposed to be an EXACT copy of the card that is being multipled and since the multiple is technically a blank card, even if i were to multiple it, the multiple produced from the multiple would end up being a 0spd 0dmg no symbols attack. it makes sense to me but it also seems kinda ambiguous and its been a year (maybe a couple of years) since ive played ufs so my memories on basic rulings is sketchy as it is, so id like to be 100% sure before i completely disregard this strategy.

From 2.14.2.4 of the AGR

"...If you attempt to create a "multiple copy" of a "multiple copy", the "copy of a copy" is discarded"

oh... well there you have it. thank you
