Well on the brightside we get a clearer picture of the Rogue and Villains ships. I'm really thinking that the Havoc (Scurrg H-6 prototype bomber) will be what includes the fix for the TIE Bomber now.

I'm surprised at the early Wave 2 Armada announcement since no one has their Wave 1 stuff yet, just the core game. I'd like the shine to wear off new stuff before learning about new new stuff.
Probably so early because the contents of the wave was already leaked (They showed at a convention that it was coming) so there's no need for the secrecy.

They can't afford to get people excited about X-Wing while they're trying to sell Armada. There's a lot of people that would think twice about buying Armada if suddenly FFG got them all excited about saving up for the Raider or Wave 7.

I'd rather have the info come out right before release than released months ahead of the product being available for purchase. I hated knowing all about Wave 5, but not having it in front of us. All those guys from Gencon or on Vassal playing with the toys before the rest of us could.

Why not do both? They can show us the ships months before they come out but not show us any of the cards until right before they come out.

I'll second that. I stopped playing for at least a month before wave 5 b/c in my mind I kept saying "I'd rather be flying a decimator"
But at the same time, I probably hit refresh on ffg's page to check 50 times a day.
So in the pursuit of fairness since I'll be providing refreshments I think it is only fair if everyone meets at my apartment in Nebraska before we march on FFG Headquarters. I'm not going to lie; some of you won't make it but **** it that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
