Hi Jacenat, just wanted to comment about something you mentioned in the last podcast about somebody criticising your English. You have nothing to apologise for and I hope this person has recorded a podcast of their own in a foreign language to stand in judgement of you! I live in England, and as a native English speaker can I just say how much I appreciate the effort you guys go to, and how impeccable your English is. Yes, idioms don't always translate, but that's part of the charm of language, and I have never had a problem in the least understanding you. I hope this mystery critic was having a joke with you, otherwise they need to wind their neck in. A phrase I suspect doesn't translate well...
Anyway, don't worry about them, you're doing a great job. Thanks again!
LOL,
Someone criticizing the English on Boardwars.eu has obviously never listened to me one NOVA Sqn Radio or any of my YouTube Videos! and I AM English!!!
I enjoy it when I recognize that you are fishing for the right word or phrase for what you are trying to say, adds to the charm of the Podcast and as General Zodd said, your English is better than most native English speakers 2nd or 3rd language. Please don't feel the need to apologize for the awesome work you guys do!
Kris
Agreed with the chaps above, again I'm English and other than the fact that the mystery listener might object to your accent I can't possibly see how they would complain.
In the same way as Kris says, people are more likely to struggle with my YouTube videos than your podcasts as you're making the effort to find the right words, to enunciate correctly etc.
Keep up the good work guys, please.
Rich

You don't count as English anymore mate, you're clearly getting corrupted, just look at those z's !
Thank you very much for all your encouragement regarding our English. To be honest, sometimes I can barely understand myself, though at the moment the main challenge is to be audible at all (we're trying to afford better recording equipment to make up for that).
I just wanted to clarify that the email Stephan brought up in the latest podcast was both polite and kind and intended to help us on an expression that gets tossed around on the podcast frequently and that might be misunderstood. As a second (or third or fourth) language speaker I do appreciate constructive feedback on mistakes that might otherwise easily slip into becoming an unnoticed speech pattern. Picking up teaching - many years ago - the worst (and most useful) exercise was when being recorded and unable to ignore all your own strange habbits caught on camera; habbits making your teaching and communication worse.
We do really appreciate all input, whether here or through our own website, Facebook, or
discord
(don't miss out on those!).
Jeppe

It was constructive critizism and for that I very much appreciated it. I didn't feel offended by the remark. Still I felt I need to bring it up quick on the podcast. I'd hate to see others discouraged from mailing us with stuff they think we might do better!
Episode #36 feat. Alistair who will be playing at Worlds and crushing the opposition.

Also: Essen, Jabba and a new FAQ!
Have you guys consider changing which weeks you record and release? It seen ffg is releasing ia info every other week, namely the week you release your episodes, so every time you release, the next day there's a new preview. Not a criticism or anything, just a thought.
I very much doubt FFG is looking at the Boardwars.eu page and release a preview just after they have released a new episode.
I dunno, maybe it's chalked up under community involvement ;-)
Thanks for the feedback!
Currently recording and release are a tiny bit erratic. Real life interferes more often than not. So recording consistently on mondays after a news article has relased isnt something that will be feasable right now, although it would be great.
Seeing as it gives us more time to digest the news via discord, it might actually be better that way
@Podcast #36:
I don't understand your dislike for the Trandoshans. I really like the rookie Trandoshans. They have more health per point than eStormtroopers. They deal a lot of damage. Bossk + 3 Trandoshans kill your Command Deck in turn 2 or 3. They can have a really strong Command deck.
You just have to be able to play a totally different strategy than with other lists ...
Edited by DerBaerI think it's a combination of them being not troopers, having pierce instead of bonus damage, no innate re-roll, no focus and just being 2 figures. Though my view might be tainted from the campaign.
