Just wondering if there has been any word yet on if Pegasus will be at Gen Con this year in a playable form. Looks like the game is pretty much finished and is just waiting to be printed.
Pegasus Playable at Gen Con 09?
Wrong - the game has long been finished, been printed and is on the boat on the way to us now. Whether they have it at GenCon just depends on how fast the boat is moving.
And if that point may be redundant, as I believe last year the copies of BSG they had at GenCon had been specially flown over so they could be there on time.
Is there any chance to buy a copy on gencon?

Of course there's a chance!
How big that chance is is completely unknown, though.
Hum...yeah, didn't see that the status had updated. Middle Earth Quest and Chaos in the Old Wolrd also show as being on the proverbial boat. Interestingly enough, Ad Adastra shows a release date of Summer 2009 and is listed as still being at the printer. Well...this is FFG. As we all know (at least us Arkham Horror players)...that boat moves VERY slowly...or sometimes not at all....

You think it's bad for you... I have to wave at the ship as it completely ignores the UK on its way over to the US... then wait another month for it to come back again!
Happy birthday, by the way!
Well, we should get the french version "near the end of the year"... I would buy the english version but my players won't like it...

Yeah, that's a real bummer. Especially since quite a few of FFGs products are European in origin (looks like they are getting in good with GW as of late, although GW is desperate to make money as always). And I complain when FFG can't get their stuff out Stateside on time...must be double infuriating for you.
Oh, and thanks for the birthday wishes!
Ok, so FFG was at Comic Con this year and I was able to talk to one of their reps at their booth on Saturday. He told me that they ARE planning on selling copies of Pegaus (along with Middle Earth Quest, Chaos in the Old World, and several other games). He said that they would begin selling them on day one, but said that they had not decided yet if they would start selling them right away or if they were going to wait untill noon or 2pm. So it looks like I will be spending all of Thursday at Gen Con camped out inside the FFG booth.

I will say this only once, and I will say it quite menacingly and with intent:
TAKE A FRAKKING DIGITAL CAMERA!!!!
