improved raphael

By plex2, in UFS Deck Building

Hi folks ive tweeked my raphael deck a little he is now a lot stronger than ever only thing i need that would really make him complete is seals of cesation (hope i spelt that right) only prob is no one has any for trade coz they are so powerful :(

Anyway here's the deck in its new form comment if you like

Character: Raphael 4. (of course)

Actions (7): 2x bringing the master to his kness

3x dual-wielding (top enhance)

2x tag along

Atacks (11): 3x hilt impact

3x big cyclone

2x Ryu's shin shoryuken

3x thunderbolt

Foundations (18 1d, 34 2d): 4x cursed blood (yes they are still legal)

3x healer

4x torn hero

3x voice of the land

4x white magic

4x destiny

4x fight or flight (key card)

4x free will

3x holding ground

3x journey of repentance

4x lone wolf

4x spiritual center

4x the national tae kwon do treasure

4x the red lotus of the sun

This is the most powerful raphael i can build, just need the seals and then he'll be insane. I'm hoping to take part in the next nationals with this deck so lets hope it works (fingers tightly crossed). Comment as you feel you need to.

try and get some Amy's Assistance to tap assets like Mysterious Stance and Assassination Arts or even seals

if your goin with f or f you might as well run siegfried's earth divides. 26 dmg, 26 speed is nothing to sneer at.

yeah its a really good attack in raphael but its harder to pull off then you think as you have to have 2 attacks in the card pool and the lowest difficulty on another attack is 7.

So throwing out 2 attacks on a 7 then an 8 then siggys on an 8 plus needing to leave FoF open and another foundation for the speed boost

wrath of heaven maybe?

well he should probably lower the dificulty of the other attacks. good ain't much for cc boosting so you can't go that avenue.

I know siegfried's earth divide is one big attack, but the key reason why i don't like it is the fact that you need to have 2 attacks before it thus making it a 9 difficulty rather than a 7 difficulty. Another problem is that i will use raphael's card pool clearence ability to make sure i can pass my next attack. example, play a big cyclone, clear it, play another big cyclone, then play a shin shoryuken to kill.

Nice idea and all but i feel it won't suit the deck strategy gui%C3%B1o.gif

update on the deck. the hilt impacts are gone and i put two more bringing the master to his knees, and one more tag along in instead. I've also changed the way i use dual wielding, instead of using it for damage pump, i'm using it as a backup should Raphael be negated by a tag along, that way heavy damage will still connect (fight or flight then dual wielding is the combo).

Send any comments you like :)
