Can hunters carry a maximum of 6 cards or 3? Is it 3 items PLUS 3 events or any combination that does not exceed 3?
Noob question
3+3, except Seward who gets 4+3. Can only have 3 each, not any combination (2 Items, 5 Events for example).
Dam, always on the spot
(considered sending a cv to FFG ?
)
(it's been almost a month I haven't a game of FoD... couldn't have answered without checking the rules... hopefully I'll bring the game in holidays next month to correct that lack of fun !)

It's been months SINCE I last played FoD or even read the rules, it's just that whenever I get a new game, I'll grind the rules until I can recall the key bits easily and know where to look for for the rest quickly. Especially with Arkham Horror, I don't need to look for the reference by name (in the downloaded version), I can just go to the page I know the answer/quote needed is found. If at home, like I was when replying to the OP, I can fish out the rules fast and easy, if at work, like now, throw in a clause to negate any possible error in my answer ("at work, can't check", "I think" or "IIRC")
. Heck, I tend to do that even when I'm 100% sure, but too lazy to fish out a quote
.
I get you. I'm digging day after day, this week, into Twilight Imperium 3rd rules, and now I'm in the Faqs (god ****... ten pages of it) because I so wish I could bring me friends to try this one. I'm pretty sure it is great, but that's the first time I think I'll need the rules by my side during EACH game, as opposed to Dracula, Arkham or even Descent...
Well, at least it isn't War of the Ring - more obtuse rules, and a 30 page FAQ...
Never had a look for it : everyone around me kind of dislike, or is not interested in medieval fantasy stuff, especially the tolkien one (bored of it, I guess), so although I personnally love it, I never checked that game, not to feel frustrated...

Darn, should I be looking for a new FAQ, my current one only has 16 pages?
It's still a lot, though, and you know it !
Would you recommend that game, by the way ? don't want to create a thread in its forum just for that...
It's hard to say. It's fun and all, but it's my least favourite of my FFG stuff (all but Marvel Heroes are listed in my collection; and Marvel Heroes would come in after Arkham Horror for me). Thus it has seen the least plays. If the theme appeals (and I do like the theme a lot), could be your kind of game. Title is a bit misleading though, Fury part to be exact, Dracula does better the less he gets into combat, I don't find it beneficial to attack a Hunter, thus revealing my exact location and then have the dice go foul, messing things up even if I have/had the upper hand with regard to combat cards.
Are the Basic card's counted in to them 3 item cards aswell ?
No. Otherwise only Seward could pick up an Item
. I mean if you want to go that route... The 3 cards each Hunter gets count as moves (items, whatever the term is) in combat of course.
