Kings of the Sea - Visual Spoilers In Spanish. Now Without Unofficial Translation.

By Nine989, in 1. AGoT General Discussion

Hi. Here are the spanish cards scanned (although badly and hastily scanned...). I'm sorry but right now I cannot translate them. Maybe later. If someone could translate them for our non spanish friends it would be appreciated.

I just hope everyone notices the fact that there's is only ONE copy of each card in the set. It pretty much makes the deck unplayable unless you buy more KotS boxes. I bought two. I'm currently blackmailing people so as to afford the third one. The resin card is nice though. Having three of them will be usefull in case I'm actually attacked by real Ironborn. They are quite heavy.

PICS WILL BE UP IN A COUPLE OF MINUTES

Thx a lot man, maybe it will change my mind.

...there are a lot of bad humor about this... but i'm very exited... i cannot complain... thx for spoiler!!!

I think GJ now wins the crown of house w/ most crests. 3 holy, 3 war, and 1 noble [maybe more?] in this expansion alone i think beats all core set decks at least.

You are welcome. I didn't post them before because I though you already had them.

thanks again. i'm going to wait to translate them so i don;t confuse and jumble them all up again. If no one has done it in a day or two then i'll post my backwards attempts.

Thanks once again for taking your time to load all the scans up!

From the sound of it, in a couple days it will be a non-issue as we'll likely have the english language version available to us on the shelves here in the US.

From what I can understand off of the spoilers here, I really like this set.

I'm pasting those with the pictures.I hope it's ok with you ktom.

Thanks, ktom. Just about what I thought most of them did. ...And Greyjoy is officially retarded-good with this set. They have location control, 2 sets of triggered effect cancels, attachment control, power grab, and stealth/unopposed. And lots of it happens to overlap really well with the other abilities. I think I'm sick of playing against them already. :-P

Oh, and I forgot to mention saves, and great crest support too. ...If nothing else, at least I can have high hopes for my Martell's in the future.

I thought every house would have a King/Queen, where are the Stark & Targ ones?

I think the GJ are really powerful, probably too much (add this set + cards in previous chapters and they seem far above the crowd, except maybe for Lannister in joust) and I think it was planned in order to justify the price of the expansion. It's expensive, but if you want to be competitve, you have to buy it. Even if you don't play GJ (great Plots, great neutrals, Kings/Queens). Nice move FFG ;)

are those all the cards? I think ktom missed some of them?

what about Tambor? what does it do? could not find it on the list...

Try to download the full image. They do not fit in these forums and they are cropped when displayed. There's a third column of cards not shown here but it's there. Just right click and save...

that is not the problem, I know about this, I ment that the translation is not complete...

Sorry I didn't meant it for you. The previous poster was wondering where the other kings were. I wish I knew how the quote feature worked.

the fact is that in third column there is stark and targ king ;-)

If you're using Firefox, you can just right click on the image and choose "View Image". It'll then be fully displayed. It will also be shrunken most likely ,but clicking on it will magnify it.

And I can understand the grumblng about not putting in multiple copies of the basic resources in the same proportion as the Core Set decks (I could do without the hyperbole --claims of being deceived and cheated don't win me over), but I think it is safe to say that FFG didn't waste the card slots in this set with a bunch of chaff. Pretty much every card in this set that has a translation printed for it seems like it could be good to great in certain decks. The plots alone are a great addition to the LCG card pool. People (myself included) will sometimes spend $10 on a Chapter Pack to get our hands on one or two attractive cards (I do usually end up realizing later that I'm interested in more cards than the first that caught my eye); here there are a LOT of attractive cards.

And I couldn't remember what Lannister card that I had seen at the Kingsmoot tournament that made me blurt out an incredulous "What?!?!". Now I do. Joffrey. Are you kidding me?

I think it is not that bad, imagine that your oppo pays 5 gold for euron, that makes your Joff a 6 STR char. Next roud if you are lucky he has more STR then an big army.

Targ king = visyers if only king in play gains You need one less power to win for each attachment on him.

Tambor = drumbeater (a reprint) who if you win a challenge in which he participated by 4 or more it is considered unoposed.

Not the excat wording on either but as i remember them working.

Thank you Nine989 and Ktom for provding those spoilers.

Here is a very rough translation of the new multiplayer titles:

Gentleman of the Islands (Multiplayer)
After an adversary wins a Power Challenge against you, that player takes control of the Gentleman of the Islands
+3 Power

Priest of the Drowned God (Multiplayer)
Each Gold Dragoon in your Reserve counts as 2 strength during the Domination Phase.
If an opposing one wins the Domination Phase, that player takes control of the Priest of the Drowned God.

Fleet commander of Iron (Multiplayer)
After an adversary wins a Military Challenge against you, that player takes control of the Fleet commander of Iron
+3 Military

The Reader (Multiplayer)
After an adversary wins an Intrigue Challenge against you, that player takes the control of the Reader
+3 Intrigue

The Eye of Crow (Multiplayer)
After you win an unopposed Challenge, receive 1 additional Power for your House.
After an adversary wins an unopposed Challenge against you, that player takes control of the Eye of Crow.

Pirate plunderer (Multiplayer)
If you win Initiative, add 2 Gold Dragoons from the Treasury to your gold reserve.
If another player wins Initiative, that player takes the control of the Pirate Plunderer.

the goal of the new multiplayer titles is to 'catch them all' you win when you have all six (or by attaining the correct amount of power, which didn't go away). It can really speed up multiple and cna change the dynamic. do you go after the guy at 13 power or the guy w. 4 of the 6 titles?!?!?

Thanks Nine989, you totally just made my day!

I'm afraid I'm a bit late, but I'm gad to hear it!
