Surgery strike

Ok, am i doing something wrong ? i ran out of tokens (with 2 core sets, lol) in this mission. Yeah i know, Xwings are dirty in this mission, but maybe i am doing something wrong ? any time i get 1 hit, i discard it and flip 1 card, achieving one victory point token. Is there a limit of how many tokens you can get ?

Rebs have got 13 thus far (taking down one VSD in the process) and empire has 7 (killing one neb-b). We were on turn 5, but we decided to stop when it happened, as it was very obvious the rebels would win and we wanted our cold beers.

Edit - Oh, Dodonna is hilarious in this mission, not to speak about the critical hit that reduces the movement by 1, getting those VSD at 0 speed in front of 6 xwing squadrons one of them being luke is priceless.

I...I'm gonna be that guy.

Surgery strike?

You meant surgical didn't you?

I'm sorry. So sorry. I just couldn't help it.

Thanks, yeah, my english isn't really good :P

Anyways, surgery strike sounds more funny, kind of like a Anime character ability.

Or a bad day in the healthcare industry :P

I played that objective and never came close to that number of victory points. We were only playing with one set, though. Racking up the face down damage to be able to flip it was hard, with me using Tarkin to regenerate shields, and my opponent constantly moving out of range. Then again, I was running a VSD-I to see if it was possible to even get into close range with just one VSD (answer: no). So maybe my game isn't the best sample.

We were playing 300 points, anyways, i will ask in the rules sub forum, since we were doing it differently than you (shields don't stopped us from using the ability).

The ability of the Objective lets you flip damage cards face up. But you still have to get through the shields to apply damage cards in the first place.
