Last night my group played "Generous Donations" as its final side mission in the campaign. It didn't go perfectly, but
the Rebels only got enough mission tokens to get an extra 400 credits. All told, including crates, they got 950 credits for the mission, while I got 3 influence.
After the mission, they sold off a lot of gear so they could get the force pike for Diala and the laminate armor for Fenn (who now has 18 health between his armor and Rebel Elite).
In my upgrade stage, I pulled a side mission agenda that is useless now that all of the side missions are done. I also drew Tactical Explosives, which I am absolutely buying, As You Wish, and Internal Affairs. Internal Affairs seems great if you get it early in the campaign, but I think with just two missions left it's probably not worth it. So the only question is if I buy As You Wish.
If I buy As You Wish, I'm definitely going to use it in my next mission, Chain of Command. Vader is the ideal choice to help wound the Rebel heroes. If I can interact with the terminals just three times (two on turn one and one on turn two), I can deploy Darth Vader to start turn three. I'm not sure if it's the best idea to actually use him, though. The ability to use threat to heal/protect General Weiss is really good. It still might be good to use As You Wish as an intimidation tactic, even if I don't deploy Vader.
Part of the reason I think I'm going to buy As You Wish is to thin down my agenda deck. I really want to get both Weaness Revealed and A Dark Power to run in the finale, and buying As You Wish increases my odds of drawing one or both. It's important that I get Weiss to his walker, though, because if I buy As You Wish, I would need both influence from the mission to buy Weakness Revealed and A Dark Power.
On another note, what do you think would be good open group choices for the mission? I'm inclined to take the elite Royal Guards and regular Stormtroopers.
