As i played in the east coast tournment, i truely see how evil has lost any defense its has. The only thing they have let is BRT which has alot of answers to right now. I dont mean to be come out crying about evil but i found myself extremly defense less again my friends good deck will aka Pasta. I dont think there is anything evil can do again a 20 damage darkness Blade on turn two. If anyone believes that evil decks still stands a chance of winning worlds, i would like to see how.

I wouldn't say it's been stripped naked. To it boxer briefs, sure, but not naked. They still can block, Akuma can still check fail and commit entire fields, Zi Mei can still commit, card by card, and give good damage on a string of Dark Bite, Midnight Launcher, Knight Breaker. Manifest Destiny is still around.

Granted, Evil has taken a heavy turn down, but it's not out.

I think you gotta go Zi Mei really. Akuma also seems better off Void and Fire now. Zi Mei helps your damage output and can take care of problems in the early game before good and earth are fully built out.

Play an evil character with more than 20 Life maybe? Astaroth has scary large life and big damage pumps. Jivatma is also pretty **** good in the Vit department. Also I feel like for defencive options your overlooking Laughable and Immovable Object, both of which can at least be considered side board options (Immovable is pretty good against people who run buddhist devotion.)

I've noticed the last few weeks my evil decks can't win against earth or good if the game goes longer then 3-4 turns. I would really love to see a "blow up the world" card that was playable again.

I stripped almost all the control pieces out of my zi mei deck and focused on damage pumps and positive check manipulation. Seemed to work great, but I couldnt help but feeling I should have just played the deck off of fire. Still had a ***** of a time getting those "3 speed attacks" through. but if I did it was usually GG.

If you are looking for an agro control deck I fully recomend going with death at this point. Evil really doesnt have anything over death besides BRT and that card is quickly becoming a joke in my area. In fact, most people have just went ahead and sold thiers.

I've been a firm believer that the only reason Evil has competed (lived against anything with Spike) in Block 3 are becuase of two cards: Rejection and Bitter Rivals... Now that they are gone people need to look to actually blocking attacks... Or, About Face... Or, Cutting Edge... etc.

Evil isn't as strong as it used to be. Albeit Evil is still a really good symbol, people just might have to outsource it's kill condition or it's defense... And while they are at it they might as well bring in draw power, becuase Evil doesn't have that...

Him, Evil Order is a good mix... As is Evil Chaos... As is Evil Life? Yes it is. Evil Death is a no brainer. Evil Void is looking yummy.

Basically, a lot of decks have had their fangs removed. And by fangs I mean their access to 'one' attack or card that wins them games. They now need to find some innovation, dual symbol, change the win condition, etc. in order to compete.

Yeah I really think Jivatma would be one of the best Evil characters because of The Stars Aligned. 6/30 is pretty beast, yo!

Yeah, I was actually going to say Jivatma in my post, as someone in Dallas used to run that very deck, but I'm used to people on here scoffing at the notion of 6-handers being good. Obviously, it's starting to change now... But if that one guy honestly thinks Rashotep and Yoshitora suck, well, I don't know what to say.
