Interesting little scenario

Quick question:

Here's the situation, Cthulhu against Shub-Agency: Silver Twilight Temptress © forces Mi Go Warrior (S) to commit to a story. A Priestess of Bubastis comes with the Warrior, so it won't have to go insane. A bunch of other people, including Ancient Guardian (S; pay 1 to choose and ready a character) are at a different story, in which Cthulhu ould win the combat struggle. Three part question: can a Mi Go Warrior prevent a wound from the combat struggle (I'm pretty sure it can, but confirmation would be nice), and if so, could the Shub/Agency player pay one to ready the Mi Go Warrior while it's committed to the story, and then use it to prevent a wound at the other story? And throughout all that, would the Mi Go Warrior remain committed to the story to kill the Temptress? (I'm assuming yes, but again, confirmation is appreciated)?

Thanks all,

Graham

Assuming I'm reading this correctly, which I THINK I am . . .

You could indeed use the Ancient Guardian to ready the Mi-Go Warrior and then use the Mi-Go Warrior's Disrupt to prevent the wound in the second fight, yes. Keep in mind you would have to untap the Mi-Go Warrior before any of the stories started to resolve, as the Ancient Guardian's untap ability is an Action, and only Disrupts and Forced Responses can take place in the middle of story resolution. The Mi-Go Warrior would also stay committed and kill the Silver Twilight Temptress, as the only thing that uncommits a character is generally death, insanity, or a card effect that specifically says it uncommits (i.e., exhausting does not uncommit).
