Yesterday I actually took Mike up on his post and went to the Comic Collector Shop for a demo game of armada, and I loved it! Mike was very patient and thorough in explaining the rules to me and didn't mind stopping for me to flip through the rule book a few times to see the exact wording. I had a really great time and was even able to sneak in a quick game of x-wing too!

I highly recommend to anyone who has the time and is still on the fence on Armada to go and check out the game. It is not x-wing repackaged. Repairs, planning action economy ahead of time, ability to turn vs. drift, and the potential for customization and role-playing are just a handful of armada's strengths.

We are now giving out promo cards and dice bags to anyone who asks to have Armada demonstrated for them!
