Mini-Campaign in Playtest Section

By Klaus Fritsch, in Tide of Iron

Hi

I have uploaded a mini-campaign to the playtest section of the scenario page.It consists of three scenarios showing the struggles of a French resistance group against German rear-area security forces. Two sets of mapboards from the original game are needed. The scenarios are short and unit density is very low. Please let me know what you think.

I've read through the campaign, and like very much what you have done aplauso.gif . You have put a lot of effort into the special rules, they sound great. This is a brilliant part of the game that things can be tweaked almost endlessly to make all sorts of senarios. I would love to play this campaign, but, unfortunately I don't have a second set of maps or the Normandy expasion as yet. I am also to busy in the real world at present, I have not been able to play TOI since last October sad.gif , but reading your campaign has left me wanting to play again. I give you top marks for effort gui%C3%B1o.gif .

I completely agree with Cymruisant, it is a very nice work, Klaus, though I only read it briefly.

It is good to see some small-scaled (as to number of used units) scenarios, that are linked into a campaign.

Moreover when their theme is a less usual one (no tank divisions, no conquering of beaches or fortified positions). Something like "make-do with a little".

Only pity, that playing them requires either a map pack or second copy of TOI - which not everybody must have. Could be a reason to buy one gui%C3%B1o.gif ?

Work is finally slowing down and I can finally game again. This is on my MUST list!
