I only have 2 m3a expansions and 1 starviper for the scum faction. I have one of almost all the rebel and imperial ships although I do not have rebel aces. I even have both large ships. any advice on what I can do with scum to be effective because I cannot afford to get any more right now!

Very rough first draft.

Serissu/Laetin - heavy scyk - heavy laser cannon - stealth device

Xizor - stealth device - predator

Good mid/high pilot values. Good defense. Solid attacks at all ranges. Mobile. 99 points. Turrets on heavier ships (Falcon) could be a problem, but those heavy laser cannons at long range should help if you can stay at long range.

More of a formation group, so try to stick together.

You could drop the laser cannons for manglers and give yourself 7 points to work with which could give you a little more flexibility for pilot skills and maybe throw a torp on Xizor.

Hmmm.....not a lot you can do with at just 3 ships. The only thing I came up with was:

Serissu w/ Mangler, PtL, and Shield Upgrade

Laetin w/ Mangler and Shield Upgrade

Guri w/ FCS, Autothrusters, Predator, and Inertial Damp.

Now, if your opponents don't mind you proxy stuff, you can always just print out the pilot cards and use your Rebel stuff for Scum. Well, even your Firespray. That gives you a lot of options. You have the Z's, Y-wings, and HWK-290. That should help you out until you can get the cash flow.

Also, look into selling your blood plasma. Most places will pay about $60 for your first visit. Always the last resort of the student or underemployed.

I'm sorry if this isn't helpful but kicking yourself for not getting Most Wanted comes to mind.

I say this simply because when you already have all the Rebel and Imperial ships picking up Most Wanted would have given you seven or so ships to use which would give a lot more freedom than just three small ships. With the most expensive likely combination you're still looking at 30+ points of upgrades which probably should be another ship or even two. We know 3 ship lists can work but I feel the Scyk just don't have what it takes to stand up to that kind of stress.

Most wanted is a great expansion! You get new pilot cards for a fire spray, a HWK, Y wings and Head hunters plus some good upgrades. I don't know exactly how use ful he is yet but I love running the unhinged astromech.

Most Wanted is somewhat tricky. If you're just looking for completely new ships it is a waste. On the other hand if you are looking at a way to jumpstart your Scum squadron building it is golden. The actual dial rulings make it even more useful.
