Revan and Kath Hound Stats?

By whiteape1, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

As then title suggests. I need stats.

I know everyone here is creative, so I need you help. Can you guys think of stats for a physical manifestation of Darth Revans soul, and stats for a Kath hound. Also I'll be running the Kath hounds as a pack.

Thanks for the help. This will be for the parties venture to gather crystals for their lightsabers. As we are all now five games in.

Revan is much the same as Darth Vader. He's a plot device, not an opponent to fight.

If this is simply a phantom, just use the Inquisitor rules with a focus on lightsaber combat and probably the Warlord skill set, since it doesn't need to replicate the full capability of what the actual Revan could accomplish.

I made minion slice hounds for a nemesis once on my blog. Maybe you can modify them to suit...

You could, infact, use the Darth Vader rules - he gets two maneuvers per turn, and if he catches someone and has a maneuver left, they're defeated. It being Darth Revan, whose special snowflake power is cult-like force of personality, it could be a willpower check to see if they just die or instead join him. ;)

Where is this rule published? Is it official, or fan-written?

Well it's not so much Revan as Revan's SOOOOUUUUULLLLL *cough* sorry, got some deadite stuck in my throat....

Offhand I'd make this some kind of puzzle or riddle. Something that requires the players to think a solution instead of brute force it.

Of course if the players insist on brute forcing it..... maybe something all evil ghosty like Bane on Korriban Morriban in the Clone Wars... something like......

Incorporeal - Revans spirit can only interact with reality on the most basic of levels. He cannot physically make contact with anything unless noted otherwise. Revan cannot take wounds, or be harmed by most physical attacks. Weapons with the stun setting, or stun quality have no effect.

Force of Violence: Revan CAN however take strain damage from brawl attacks (though brawling weapons like brass knuckles provide no bonus) Force attacks like Unleash will inflict strain damage on Revan. Likewise Scathing Tirade, Influence, and similar abilities will also function.

Feed on Violence - Revan can use any Threat generated by attacks made against him to regenerate strain at 1:1

After that it's up to you. I'd either give him a lightsaber like effect if that's what I wanted. Or give him a Force Power like Move or Unleash....

Defeating Revan through violence will end in Revan fading out with a final message about his disappointment in the PCs and generating 5ish Conflict for everyone who attacked him....

FYI: I pulled those numbers right outta my butt, so if you want to use them, make some rough rolls to ensure balance and adjust as needed.

It's the... life day adventure I want to say? I'm not sure since I started playing after both it and the AoR beta were no longer available, but I've seen it mentioned quite a few times.

Said "Vader rules" are from the Rescue at Glare Peak module that was written last year for FFG's Rebellion Day event.

In short, Vader is very much a plot device at the adventure's end, and if he catches up to the players, then he pretty much stomps them into the ground, no rolls required on his part. The players can attack him, but their attacks have zero effect.

He's not an opponent to be fought, but a reminder to the PCs to get their butts out of dodge as fast as humanly possible.

Ah, fair enough!

Gulp...

Revan could be practically anything, because his character could be practically anything. Designed to be an ambious Jedi/Sith thing that can do anything and everything you imagine. That's the power of being a videogame character and thus why he and the exile are utterly unmeasureable. Though beyond their force gimmics theres little to suggest that they were anything more then strong masters.

I would opt for the force ghost thing as suggested. I don't think he should be unbeatable like Vader is, but fighting him should be difficult due to being incorperal.
