We haven't had new spoilers since the announcement of the Raider, so none at all this year....

Last spoiler was the Aggressor mid-January actually, but ya still!

Yeah, that's right. And before that, the Scyk on the 29th of December. It's still 2 months since the last important announcement.

I still need to try my StarViper, HWK and Scyks and about a couple dozen different squads I had made before I even got my hands on my new plastic crack. Seeing as every couple of days there is a new forum thread about the same exact subject instead of, I don't know, continuing on a previous one instead of spamming the forums with the EXACT SAME DISCUSSION and that it all essentially boils down to impatience and anxiousness with no actual substance past guessing when news will drop, yes, I would love for this thread to die a quick death. Please feel free to continue the discussion in a thread that was already existing instead of making a new one every few days."

"Grow Up" doesn't really seem to hold much of an effect on a forum about playing a Star Wars Miniatures Game. Please feel free to continue the discussion that goes nowhere and then proceeds to be started again every few days, it's not like I can stop you from it.

Shortly after May 1st will be the next big announcement is my prediction. That is when the next trailer for episode VII comes out with The Avengers. Till then hopefully we will get an update on the Raider. Something should be able to have a early release at GenCon like the Outrider did.

How about just playing the game, we just got a whole new faction released a month ago.

FFG is trying to generate hype for Armada, they don't want to distract people from buying that game while it's still fresh on the shelf. Expect to wait a few more weeks after the Aramda release for any X-Wing news. We told you Armada would be bad for X-Wing players.

We did just get a huge update to the FAQ and Tourney Rules that has fundamentally changed the way the game is played. A lot of people still haven't wrapped their heads around what 3 obstacles to bring with their lists and how the new Phantom is going to fit into the metagame, let alone all the updates to the FAQ. We'll just have to enjoy the new FAQ and Phantom while we wait for Gencon and May.

I'm in the camp of just wanting more Raider info. It's been quite a while since it was announced, we usually know more about ships by now. Save wave 7 announcement for after we know more about that.

Star wars celebration is in 2 weeks and i would be very surprised if FFG didnt have any announcement planned for then.

I'm down with the current state of affairs. Besides, it's nice to want.

FFG can't satisfy the crackheads, so they may as well spread out the news. For me, I'm avoiding all details regarding the new star wars movie, because it's nice to want and I'll enjoy the movie more.

My guess is Force Awaken stuff, hence the delay.

Reason #1: They said they got brought in early to work on TFA stuff by Lucasfilm.

Reason #2: They said Wave 7 is done and they're working on Wave 8.

Reason #3: The big marketing and product blitz for TFA is September which would be an early preview (maybe) at GenCon and retail release in Sept.

Reason #4: FFG presentation at Celebration so probably had to wait until more official info dropped.
