One of these threads again... As others have pointed out, it really is annoying. These posts usually multiple and end up having 3 on the front page. So yes, it is over kill. I still click cause some people do have information, like the panel thing. I am excited for that. It was worth wading through 4 pages. Other than that, I know its hard to wait, so why not go play some X-wing?

You're kind of misquoting it there though. This would require one to actually follow you (or myself, I don't deny I'm a fool) not respond to a comment or a thread as that isn't the meaning behind follow in that quote. I'm gonna like that post just because you tried to quote Obi-Wan though.

He actually used the quote perfectly in this context. He might have done something foolish - the wise thing would have been to ignore it is his point....

I was fairly certain in the context of the conversation between Han and Obi-Wan when Han called him a [curse word] fool and Obi-Wan retorted with that, it was basically saying "I may be a fool but you are actively following me by helping me on my apparent suicide mission so you are the more foolish."

Also, wow, I didn't realize how un-Jedi-like Obi-Wan could get until just now. Han tries to call him a fool and rather than being a peaceful and serene Jedi he snaps back at him with sass.

He properly used the quote, the implication being that you are foolish for even clicking on the thread when you knew what was inside.

Is he foolish for making a redundant thread, or you the more foolish for reading it and griping over 4 pages? I'll let you figure that one out for yourself.

No news is good news. Im still hoping for a "We now announce wave 7 and it's available now, BOOM!" but I sure don't mind having to wait a longer time between all the news posts. Also gives some time to see what armada is all about

It is a fairly well-known and common thing that you are supposed to search a forum for anything related to what you are about to post before you post it. Hence the reason for the search capability. It could save you quite a lot of time and clog up the forums less with multiple threads on the same topic. Apparently no one does that anymore.

Because when they do they necro threads from the medieval era. Unless there are two threads running in parallel there's no harm in new ones.

I for one am really happy that FFG have taken their foot off the gas a little.

I was beginning to find the relentless schedule of new releases to be somewhat onerous.

I don't care for big ships and scum, while a good addition to the game, doesn't excite me beyond the upgrade cards. That's why I want some news! I want to see the next Imperial small ship. It's been a looooong time since I've had something to get hyped over.

I'm starting to suspect that wave 7 will be conected to episode 7.

I know that suggestion will cause wailing and gnashing of teeth but 3 things lead me that way;

1) The unprecedented drought of news

2) we're running out of eu ships that even a hardcore EU fan like me wants to see.

When looking on the news page, FFG is releasing a TON of news on every other game they have.

As mentioned many times on this forum, they seem to save x wing for their event within a couple of weeks.

ok, back on topic,

we heard about the imperial raider back in December. the thing is still at the printer, so we are looking at probably another 2-3 months before we get our hands on the thing.

so I guess I can see why they are holding off on more intel, but you show us this TIE advanced fix but we cant have it until the raider comes out?

I have given up all other games, I have not played 40k in over 6 months, xwing is my focus now, I have nothing but xwing, work, wife, and my kids are grown up so they don't count.

I bought 2 armada starters, but I pre-ordered them from wal-mart and wont get them until next month yet. so I would really want to see some new xwing info of some kind.

man, this post makes me sound like a looser, oh well.......................
