Greetings Acolytes,

If you are here on this forum you are an Acolyte or an Inquisitor for sure, you have discussions about rules or questions about trivia in the Empire. Why you are here are obvious, you are playing or following Dark Heresy. To write on this forum you also need to register and show your support, well in your own way of course. My fellow acolytes that I explore the Calixis sector with are somewhat sloppy. They seem to lose their character sheets, finding older ones under sofas and what not, they are simply horrible.
I was then thinking, to make things more effective, why not, when you register here on this forum be able to create and save your character. Fill in skills on the fly and be able to see when and what you used your precious experience points on. I would love to show you my own pacifist Tech-Priest barber here, maybe even compare with other players out there and keep this updated.
I do believe that this would open up for further discussions, create more page views so that news could be spread in the community even faster. It would most definitely take care of my sloppy fellow acolytes.

The Emperor protects!

A character archive like that would be wonderful, but I don't think it's an effective way to solve the aforementioned problem. It's like lowering the river rather than raising the bridge. Better to demand more responsibility on behalf of the player, or have the GM keep everyone's sheets.

I'm the GM. I have a binder with all my notes. At the end of every session, I collect character sheets. I figure if I lose my binder, there's no game anyway, so no big deal. In the past I'd let players keep their sheets, and suffered from "Missing PC syndrome" almost every session. One person or another would forget their character, and I'd have to wait while they recreated their character more or less. It was a massive pain in the ass.

Have your GM collect the sheets and keep them with his DH core book. It's not a problem at all.
