TTCOMBAT acrylic templates

By Tuls, in X-Wing

Anyone heard of them. A friend of mine has found some online pretty cheap. Was wondering if they are good quality or something to pass on.

I'd never heard of them before and could only find their templates on eBay. They seem functional enough, assuming that the acrylic is the same thickness as other template makers use, but the giant "TTCOMBAT" logo on the templates doesn't look good to me and would keep me from ordering from them. The price is definitely right, though, if the logo doesn't bother you.

Yea that logo is a bit much. Was hoping someone had seen them in person. From what I can gather they are a promo. Would hate for my friend to drop the cash to find out they warp or worse.

I have seen them in person and they are not worth the money. Some of them came with scratches and cut marks where the template cutter hit. I would spend a little more money and look at Applied Perspective on-line. They have great templates. I highly recommend the mirrored effect, you won't be disappointed.

I'd look at the Acrylic Hotness thread. Costs the same as Applied Perspective, but looks amazing.
