I know small figures dont block line of sight but does the atst block line of sight when one figure is trying to attack another figure through it. And how does line of site work with a figure in the same space as at st. Sorry in advance if already covered searched but didnt see it .
At-st question involving line of site
According to "Massive", RRG, Page 16
• Figures do not block line of sight to or from a Massive figure
What this means is this:
The AT-ST can ignore other other figures while drawing LOS when it is attacking.
Other figures can ignore other figures while drawing LOS to the AT-ST.
This means that the AT-ST would block LOS if you were trying target a figure behind it.
Figures cannot occupy the same space as other figures while attacking or performing actions. See the FAQ in the rules section.
Although, interestingly enough, I could not find a reference that a Massive Figure blocks LOS to another Massive Figure.
Anyone?
Thanks for response and i must of misread the part about massive entering space of another figure. I missed part of it being pushed back to empty space.
The fact the only use figures not massive figures means that a massive figure would block line of sight from another massive
Although, interestingly enough, I could not find a reference that a Massive Figure blocks LOS to another Massive Figure.

You answered this yourself with
• Figures do not block line of sight to or from a Massive figure
A massive figure is still a figure, so the above remains true.
No, an AT-ST cannot block LOS to another AT-ST. It doesn't matter what qualifications or modifiers the figure has, it is still a figure. Figures do not block line of sight to or from a Massive figure. If you want to shoot an AT-ST the only thing stopping you is range and terrain.

I agree with this interpretation of the rules as they are presented but I also truly beliee that an AT-sT should block los to another AT-ST... If FFG is smart, they rule just that in the next faq.
It makes no sense that R2D2 can block los to Chewbacca but a giant waker doesn't block LOS to something identical in size.I'm hoping this is just an oversight and will be fixed, but for now we have to play it the stupid way it is written.
It should work like hordemachine... equal sized bases block los to each other but a smaller base does not block los to a larger one. So, regular base don't block large and large don't block massive, but large blocks large and massive blocks massive. That's what I think at least.
Edited by StromboliIf you look at wording of massive in rules reference guide whenever they are refering to massive figures they use full term massive figures which means figures and massive figures not always interchangable. so for the wording to include massive figures it would say. Massive figures and figures do not block line of sight to or from massive figures.
