I'm not very impressed with the art sleeves. The best looking one is Zi Mei and that isn't all too tasty. Not bad looking but it won't please me to have them.

And they're being shipped in packs of 50, for a game where the standard deck size is 60. Nice to see FFG have just gone with the industry standard rather than actually thinking about this. Packs of 75 to allow for sideboards and above average deck sizes would be much more useful.

The art is gorgeous though.

@JDub: It's a joke buddyyyyyyyyy. In my defense, however, there was an informal mention in the June SotG that Tekken would be out in July, and measures would be taken to make it fair to play at Worlds.

I am glad to see they are still supporting UFS with ancillary products.

Also keep in mind that there are a lot of licensing issues involved in making sleeves based on the SF, DS, SC, SS, KOF etc characters, so using an in-house character is probably the smartest move for now.

also the art is really decent and hopefully people will see people using them (not just in UFS) and get interested in UFS. Putting Zi Mei on everything is all about brand recognition.

I really wish it was easier to describe UFS to interested people.

It is the Universal Fighting System, which features games like Street Fighter and so on.

The issue is the minute they see Ryu or Ken or Mai, they think it is a (insert video game here) card game, and ignore the rest, assuming that KOF box is the KOF card game, and they logically aren't compatible.

either way, Zi Mei is a cool-looking fighting chick that has asian influences that hopefully will attract people to the game.

zi mei is a good choice because she advertizes ufs, not sf, sc, KoF, etc. this is definately a step in the right direction.

remember, this is not the shadowar card game either...

Maybe there is a reason that they can't make SF, SC, ect sleeves and stuff. I know Ultra Pro made Street Fighter sleeves, maybe they have the exclusive rights to make sleeves and all that stuff for SF? The other licensess Im not really sure, but maybe there is a reason.
