We had a different Mars bar than you guys. Mars was discontinued, and apparently has been reinstated, though I haven't seen one, I don't think.

Yesterday, my local game store "accidentally" updated their Facebook to show a new Star Wars release today from FFG. When confronted, the owner swore it was just a mistake. I wish they had a fist shaking emoticon...

What's a Marathon and an Opal Fruit? I mean, Snickers has been the US name forever, right? But that has an NFL logo. I'm confused...

Snickers was Marathon (UK) until 1990 (which, as it happens, looks to be the Super Bowl they are advertising a contest for on that package - Super Bowl 25)

Opal Fruit looks to be what we Americans know as Starburst

Ye Olde UK/European names for Snickers and Starburst. They must have been running some kind of NFL promotion at the time maybe when Channel 4 first started airing it...

...yes, we also only used to have four TV channels as well.
