So the girlfriend and I had a draft...

By BoneSaw2, in Talisman

Here is how it went down.

Her...

Prophetess, Dark Cultist, Swashbuckler, Sorceress, Amazon, Druid, Gypsy, Thief, Philosopher, Minstrel, Priest

Me...

Troll, Warrior, Assassin, Wizard, Gladiator, Knight, Dwarf, Sage, Monk, Ghoul and Merchant

The Elf went unpicked.

On paper I would say I have more heavy-hitters, but she almost always finds a way to beat me, I think I've beaten her twice out of the last dozen games we play.

So you'll play X games, picking 1 char for each, from those left unused, keeping score? What happens if a char dies during mid-game? Replacement from those left unplayed? How does that affect future games?

We pick a character, then reveal and play. Which ever character dies first is out of the tournament. Whoever is left with no characters at the end is the loser. It will take quite a few games to play.

That is amazing, your girlfriend has ALL the female characters along with those that are slightly lighter on their feet .

Whereas you have all the cannon fodder bruisers.

That's what I love about stereotypes - they are just so true! partido_risa.gif

Hi Bonesaw

That's a nice tournament you made gran_risa.gif

what happens if a character lost the game, then it is out of tournament? or only if they are killed? or only the first character that is getting killed etc

Bonesaw:

If i look to your list of characters that you have drawn, then it is not bad. Every character can actually win. ( i must say that i don't like the Ghoul and the Sage, but the other characters are very good.

Talisman is all about luck, and it seems that your girlfriend is very lucky with the game.

At least... be happy that you have a worthy opponent ! gran_risa.gif
