You can't really move a thread. You can just let the one here die out, and start up the original thread over in the other section.
Most boards I have been on, moving a thread requires moderator access, and since FFG refuses to appoint some people to moderate the boards we're stuck.
Just wait 5 minutes and the thread will disappear into the abyss of 20,845 topics and 353,368 replies that is the X-Wing forums (as of 2:45 PST)
