I have run about 6-7 demo games now and pretty much universally, former x-wing players first put their speed dial face down, and I have to remind them that it's open information, and then they ask "alright, so now I change it right?" at the end of the round.

First dial is either Repair or Nav, which turns into a token. Tarkin gives you the other token first turn. Spend both when needed. ??? Profit.
