The deck is technically tri-symboled because all the foundations are off good, and if I play Broken Promise I go off order, and if I Cobra Blow a Lynx Tail I go off fire. It pretty much works like any other Hilde deck, so far I have not been able to play it against anyone but in deck testing it has been consistantly killing second or third turn. I posted to see what people thought and take any sugestions.

You need heel snipe or else Hilde will get cancelled in so many ways.

ya I know that heel snipes help a lot and I'm going to at least side deck them, but broken promise ended up taking there place when I was making her, because I didn't want to run to many 2 and 3 checks. Also if I play a heel snipe it would prevent me from useing cobra blow and broken promise that turn, which I usualy need to get a second turn kill, although I guess could play to heel snipe as a reveral. I decided to run 4 SOC and 4 hope for ones peoples to try to make up for the lack of heel snipe, but if that dose not work out I will try runing heel snipe.

I see amy's...what else for DR.

Know when to talk seems like a dead card. And how do you fuel momentum for torn hero? or is it just for anti-stun?

Id try to replace those with 2 DR cards, as is its sort of difficult for you to trigger arrogant and insolant. You just have Amy's and Hilde, and its hard to use Hilde's E if she is committed =/

Edit: Also free will is too slow for Hilde IMO. Leave that stuff in death control.

Cage Arena works wonders for Hilde. Its such a good defensive and offensive card.

If not then dual wielding is still a good idea. It has all her symbols on it so you could run it with any of the attacks.

Torn Hero and Know When to Talk are primaraly in the deck because they are good drops, which help with getting Broken Promise off second turn with its hefty 7 difficulty. I would replace them if I found a low difficulty foundation with a more useful effect.

I don't think I will have a problem with trigering arrogant and insolent since my two main attacks broken promise and lynx tail can reduce there own damage. All though I would like to run some more damage reduction, preferably somthing with no minimum so that it can be used with broken promise.

I agree with Smazzurco on cage arena, I would rather have a foundation to help me build, but I probably will still try them out.

I also intend to test duel wielding in the deck. The reason there not in there know is because I was worred about the 4 difficulty, and I felt that I just didn't need them to get the damage up, since in deck testing I had more trouble with controling my opponet than with geting my attack high enough to kill them. All though I think I will test to see if the deck is faster with or without them.

I think Smazzurco is right about free will being to slow so I think I'll try out somthing else, maybe cage arena.

On a side note I'm going to try out this deck with and without broken promise, because it seem to be the reason why I'm not useing several cards.

If you just want a good 1 difficulty foundation, I always throw in Empire's Ruin. Not that Hilde really needs speed boosts but just in case you do, +2 speed or the ability to make an unblockable attack blockable again is useful.

Also isn't the point of Hilde not to control them, but kill them fast enough before they can control you?

The point of the deck is to go fast I just mentioned the controle because I need to be able to cope with cards like no mems and SOC if my opponent gets them out first turn, hence I'm runing SOC and Hope for Ones People.

Just so we're all on the same page re: Arrogant and Insolent... you cannot play Hilde's E Commit, reduce your damage more, ready Hilde, and then use her E Commit again. TBH I don't think the card is worth running...

Exactly. There are SO many ways to stop Hilde's "big enhance." Getting a second, or even third chance, in one turn greatly increases the odds that they won't stop you. Especially considering this deck is not running heel snipes. Of course if you get Tag Alonged, then it doesn't matter (and you will get Tag Alonged).

Basically, without heel snipe, they can use Tag Along, Stone Mail, No Memories, Evil-Doer Destroyer, Spiritual Center, Healer, Holding Ground, The Bigger They Are, FIght or Flight, and Ceal of Sessation to stop you cold. With Heel Snipe, that list drops to Healer, Holding Ground, The Bigger They Are, and Fight or Flight. Fight of Flight still doubles your damage, and the Bigger They Are only works based on Height, so you're really left with Healer and Holding Ground to deal with. Heel Snipe will commit one of those. For the rest, Experienced Combatant works wonders.

I see the point about Heel Snipe, but to run then I will have to use more DR because the way the deck is curently runing most of my damage comes from Cobra Blow, as is the Heel Snipe will probably do about 10 to 15 damage and I would probably not be able to attack again that turn. Like I said earlyer I'm going to try runing the deck a coulple of different way and see what works best. In the other deck I'll probibly take out Broken Promise, Cobra Blow, and some of the drops, and put in Heel Snipe, Cage Arena, and Duel Weilding.

BTW grandmook I think you ment the harder they fall not the bigger they are.

ass arts is mandatory for hilde.

I would first and foremost add in one win condition mainboard and one sideboard (Ira Spinta and Heel Snipe, your choice which one goes MD and SD). I would drop Free Will, Torn Hero, Arrogant & Insolent, N-Type Human for more relevant control and speed pieces such as Alluring Beauty, Buddhist Devotion, Experienced Combatant, Aquakinesis, and The Bigger They Are... especially since as a very insightful post in the General Discussion board suggested, running Heel Snipe + the latest ban list means the only things you really have to care about are for the most part controlling what's on the board.

You've already got Seals in for when you expect the opponent to be holding onto About Face. I'd also put in Assassination Arts and Cage Arena. Even though Cage Arena has the minimum 1 dmg condition, it's still a great defensive tool and it gets you +2-4 more redux on a Lynx Tail/Ira Spinta/Heel Snipe. If you still want to keep those momentum centric cards such as N-Type Human/Torn Hero, etc. then I would guess that you could try running a couple Mysterious Stance but as far as the big picture goes, I'd go with more speed than more defense that doesn't directly aid your kill.

I'm too lazy to look up what Know When To Talk... is but I'm all for uniqueness in a deck.

Oh and this is just me and I don't think it's necessary to do at all, but in every Good deck, I just always maindeck Destiny, especially since BRT is the last 'well, ****' card left in this game.

I don't see why you would drop arrogant and insolent in a Hilde deck it doesn't make sense. It allows Hilde a second chance to use her kill ability should the first one fail. You can also bait their resources into the first attack and finish with the second one.

I do agree that Experienced Combantant with Hilde is a great idea espeically since she can toss cards pretty easily.

I wouldn't attack with Hilde unless I knew I wouldn't need a second chance. I'd rather put down an Alluring Beauty and lock down an innocent looking Inhuman Perception on their side to eat their impending Tag Along/KFT/About Face than put down an Arrogant and Insolent which allows me a second chance to possibly kill if I converse my redux and play my second attack at +1/+2 progressive difficulty.

It just turns into another stall game that way. Wait forever until both ends are set up beyond belief then one person wastes all resources to push an attack through. I never liked that kind of gameplay, I'd rather see Hilde pull off her attacks in succession, make attacks high enough damage to force them to waste resources then with Arrogant and Insolent, do it again. I think it'd be more successful than playing another generic control deck and wait and wait to kill.

You're not stalling if you use a control piece to lock down something that's keeping you from winning that turn. Experienced Combatant is for the purpose that you're describing though.

I deffinitly need Alluring Beuties, I have never had any so I didn't think of running them, and I'm going to get Cage Arena's and Assassionatin Arts. I'm not sure how the symbling would work if I put in Experienced Combatant, Aquakinesis, and The Bigger They Are, but if someone would tell me how people usualy run then I would like to know. BTW alot of to differences between this Hilde and most other ones is because I wanted to try and run Broken Promises in her, just for the fun of it, not sure how well they will really work though. Anyways thanks for the advise.

No reason to not run both. Assasination Arts is hilarious when an Akuma uses his commit ability to try to push through a big attack. And generally the redux on your board is negligible win condition wise unless you have to kill without Lynx Tail (which happens, but you'll probably have Amy's Assistance/Healer out at that point).
