Card Sleeves

By Madaghmire, in Star Wars: Armada

So I bought a few cards sleeves for the squadron cards, but I'm not sure where or even if I could get sleeves for the damage deck/ upgrade cards. Anyone out there able to shed some light? Any help here is much appreciated.

Depends, my FLGS has Fantasy Flight's own card sleeves, so I have enough for all the sizes. The ship sleeves are basically Tarot card size, the same size used in their Elder Sign games, the squadron and rules cards are standard size, while the upgrade and damage cards are their little ones. They nicely colour code the packages, the Large card packages are orange, the medium ones are clear/grey and the small ones yellow.

So in my case the store I go to carries them, but you could probably order them directly from FFG. The back of the box shows you how many you'll need: 1 orange, 1 grey, 2 yellow. A package of orange sleeves will do you for a lot of ships, since each package, regardless of size, has 50 sleeves.

As Agatheron said, it's the yellow packs you need.

If you can, check with a local games store. Try not to buy them from Amazon. Locally (UK) the yellow packs will go for £2 in store. On Amazon they will sell for double that. Or, for example, they will sell for 85p and then charge you crazy postage.

I know the UK shops got a recent restock so even if you're not in UK I imagine a store local to you might have got them as well.

The names of the card sizes are:

Tarot Card - Ship cards

Standard Card - Objectives and Squadron cards

Mini American Board Game Card - Damage deck and upgrade cards

X-Wing uses Standard and Mini American as well.

So even if you cannot find the FFG sleeves, you know the card types to buy from other companies.

Thank you guys for being extremely helpful!
