On the Road Again

I'm going to be driving out to DC for a vacation/break-from-not-interviewing-because-I-can't-talk/road trip-y thing the end of this week. Saturday is reserved for train'ing up to NYC to watch DC show NYC how you play 'Thrones. I'll be hanging out with my sister and her husband, seeing friends around the DC area and then returning to MN for treatment on my throat.

However, my return trip has flexibility and room for playtime. Since not everyone is on Facebook (though you can feel free to add Lucas Reed in MN if you'd like) I thought I'd "proposition" anyone who knows me (or would like to know me... <fools>) and wants to get in some Thrones while I'm en route home. Preferably you'd live within a 200 mi. wide band surrounding a semi-direct southerly route between DC and Indianapolis, or Indy and St. Paul, but as most people will tell you, a game of AGOT (and maybe a frosty barley-pop) is really all you need to get me to go out of my way. I'm actually leaving for a pit-stop in IA (to pick up camping gear) on Tuesday eve, but now that I have a data plan on my phone to compensate for the lack of speech, I'll be checking in here regularly.

Cheers.

I'm sure the no-mass folks would like to see you. So I'll foward the message to them, and reply here with thier reply.

Well, you're welcome to head up into Saskatchewan. Although it's a bit out of your way.

Still, Canada is awesome. Also, not horribly cold right now. #Just slightly cold.

What was that? Did I hear that "My Name is Earl" was cancelled? Could a voice from the past be hunting us? I wonder when the US economy will fail so badly that we all move up to CA... or global warming and the rising tides will force us all into the Canadian Rockies? Then maybe we'd see hide or hair from this, so called Tallduncan. >:]

@bloodycelt: Thanks for the on-passing. I talked to Ethan during his layover, but he seemed to think he's too good a player to bother showing up... the winner should just concede to him, so he can repeat. Even though Erick won the Nov. event. :)

Thanks for reminding me I forgot to actually send the email.

I was actually talking about Kim, Matt, Dan and Beth...

I acquiesce to the hair, but please, no hide-peeping.

It has been a while, but I still love them game and like the community around it. Hopefully (well, to me, though likely not anyone else) I'll be posting more regularly.

And the Earl bit still sucks.

Luke! Anytime you are remotely close to Central IL, feel free to give us a call. Katie still wants to play you in a game. ~Although I don't know why she'd want such an easy win.

You had to say south, didn't you. That eplains why you don't come up to visit us anymore. Not that you are missing much, as most of our Thrones nights get co-opted by BSG or Arkham Horror. But I do miss losing games to you. And I'm getting rusty in my games. Seems everyone can beat me now.

When are you going to make it out to Cali next? My spiders told me you were interested in making it to CaliCon, could it be?!?!
