That's wave 1 Rebel reinforcements done...time to get those Imperial goons painted!

The Rebel fleet...so far...

Wave 1 Imperials done, 6 interceptors short but they are sending me the missing parts so I might paint 'em up in a nice red scheme when they land just for something different

Armada QX sample painted up! Will come with the cute little Container barge too 　 I cast another test piece, just going to create a destroyed version....where's me 'ammer!

Armada Asteroid base sample painted! This little fella will come with the two weaponised 'roidlings shown! Will paint up a scum version along the lines of my X-wing version so I am all set for wave 2!

The 'Emperor's Wrath' stops off to take on supplies before 'educating' the local system on the advantages of Imperial rule!

Made up a destroyed version of the QX style platform, this is what happens when Lord vader calls and you have rich tea instead of Hobknobs...be warned!

Also painted one of the asteroid bases in Scum colours in anticipation of Wave 2!

pretty useful in a lot of systems, for instance I will be putting it to work in trek, Armada and Halo fleet battles in the future!

The upgrade kit consists of the following, the lower arms simply slot over the little nubs and sit comfortably in place and if you take the time to pin or magnetise the upper structures they can be simply replaced as need be...magic!

Bulldog wins the Red Green award of excellence on these Uglies.

There's a beautiful mix of shapes and frames that range between 'Exceptionally cool' and 'Golden Era sci-fi genius' to 'the Clampetts'. The Pelican (X-wing fuselage and the Y-wing engines) is one I adore, and the Crimson Xerceptor looks like it could be a real sith fighter. But that Mirror B-lade (six-winged B-wing) needs to be a thing. Seriously.

The half-and-halfs I love for their almost undeniable homely charm. There's something about them that makes me think of a mix of choking carburetor sounds and the highest pitched scream that humans can hear. External audio amps must go crazy when the S&V folk pull into town.

That Victory is all kinds of cool, I was thinking how to do something like that a few days ago, but I didn't want to detail the interior when I have such a horrid project already on my plate. I wish I could say more, it deserves more words, like... two-thousand sixty-nine more at least. I like the blue in the open winglets, blue was an interesting choice on the interior, I think I like it.

Oh, and something-something-something about an absolutely wonderful paint job in addition to some fantastic work

I'm loving the uglies. Someone mentioned wanting them in Armada on a post a few months back and I thought it would look stupid. But the paintjobs you gave them really bring them to life. I 100% want these in game now. I just wish I had the skill/patience to paint that well.

Created a 'jungle' planet to compliment my ice and desert worlds , any resemblance to familiar scenes is purely coincidental!

Wow, first I've seen of any of these models - brilliant! Those uglies are the most stupidly brilliant thing I've seen in Armada yet!

Saw a few pics of a style of space station I have always liked in one of my Diagostini falcon mags, just had to make it! 25cm span...its a biggy and will make a brilliant centrepiece for our games! the arm disks can be exchanged for a weapon variant and then simply pop on your weapon of choice smile emoticon I have pinned and magnetised mine as I intend to slap a few spare pods around with the lump hammer and create a destroyed version much like our smaller model. I have included an Armada ISD & Halo CAS in a couple of pictures for scale
