i also second the desire for clear acrylic bases to go over the cardboard tokens so they are easily removable in case a ship overlaps.

The only base I'd probably use a clear acrylic for is the station. I rather like the asteroid and debris bases as they're not just blank templates.

cleanlyness of play issues i have. i would probably place all of these over the card board pieces anyway and then move them as required. i do plan on getting them though, some day, when im more finacially responsible.

super glue is fine and does the trick, i have assembled some of our much larger models with nothing more than superglue!
Figured I'd share some of the painting I've done! This is one of the pieces I'm working on today, didn't unpack the asteroids from my box or I'd take photos of them too. Got the base of the second debris set waiting on the wash to dry, but I love how they look after some paint on them.

Some HotAC station bits I have been working on, lot of fun and really looking forward to playing now. While this is meant for X-wing, you know with a few new more Armada-ry plug ins I think this would look pretty cool with those fleets flying around it too!!!

btw, I have done x wing versions too
pictures of x-wing of course but after many requests is to design a printable version of the QX station! This of course means I can scale it to something more impressive for use in Armada, and create plenty of variants and styles for the game!
This will be available as a print to order kit and include the interior detail parts for the hanger apart from the x-wings of course which came from thingiverse. Probably not when its shrunken down to Armada scale of course as some of those parts are already less than 2mm in length!!!
I have designed it with holes for 8x3 magnets so the whole station can be easily built and broken down for storage, this also of course gives me options to create custom wings and parts, I already have a spark of an idea for a repair dock and larger docking wing for epic scale ships...of angry triangles in Armada
