In the Black Goat expansion if we use the Herald we draw one monster then one monster from hexagon cup. But if we are 5 or more players sould it not be 2 monters + 1 hexagon monster?

yes, thats what Id do.
I'd say yes, there isn't any way to answer no to that question : if you agree with the idea (that originally was a house rule I think ?) to add a second monster when playing with 5 players or more, then whatever you use after that (herald and so on) it will add to that rule. So yeah, 1, +1... +1 hexagon ! Good luck though 
We rarely are more than 4 players, personally ; and even 5 players with 2 monsters is a bit boring, so I wouldn't be the more advised to answer ; let us wait for other people used to crowdy games 
(and by the way why do you write in big capital letters in your topic title that you are french ? what kind of warning is that ?!

For us it is not a house rule, it is in the official rulebook (revised version of arkham rules).
The warning is because my english may not be very good but also because sometimes I do not fully understand the answers I am given!
You're right, I just saw it on the exception page 10 of the original booklet. Well, I really thought that was a house rule. I'm always lost amongst these. For instance, we absolutely believed that the monster guarding a gate and who was sucked into it if you close it, whatever its symbol is, was an official rule... until I reread recently the house rules pages, and discovered it was a house rule that I remembered and always told people about when making them discover the game...
For the french part, you shouldn't apologise : everybody here is NOT necessarily english, nor american, nor whatever, there s a lot of people from everywhere in the world, and we all make efforts to apply to the international and useful language, which you perfectly seem to talk and understand ! so come on ! I'm french too ! Do you play the french version by the way ? isn't it too... weirdly translated ? Edge is doing a great job, I heard, but I couldn't help pulling faces when hearing to the odd words they had picked up to translate such a bordgame masterpiece. Just figure that out : "A gate was sealed : et voilaaaa !" gee...

After the first translation I started working with Edge more and more to correct and reread what I could before going to print!

A little offtopic, but is that true they have translated both "Fight" and "Combat" as "Combat" and that this has lead to ambiguities in the French version ?

I've heard that too. That's unfortunate. I guess it would be important to stress to a translator the difference between certain game terms.

Don't know 'bout the french version, but in the first of the german versions, you would have to pass a "combat check" to evade Ithaquas attack. Maybe thats why he's still stuck in my head as the crappiest Great Old One ever.
Gee and damning hell, you're right, Zeb ! Who would have thought ?! I never paid attention AT ALL to the french version, you know my poor opinion on translated products... but to get the information for you I did, this time... **** ! Fight and Combat, they DID put Combat... and Combat !!!! That doesn't make any sense ! And I don't want to hear anybody saying they couldn't do otherwise because of french language specificity or whatever craps, come on ! It takes me five seconds.... hmmm... that's done, to guess two easy words to translate that : Combat would still be combat, and Fight would be translated by "Attaque" which means... "Attack", yes, but at least it sounds more like a natural hability like "Fight" is.
****. I call that lame, I'm sorry, no animosity against Edge, but that is properly lame. And no need to tell you I had a reaaaal headache at reading the french rules booklet... god... that is SO painful. Translation is one of the worst thing in the world, just after War ! I mean, can you imagine that they actually translated the "monster cup" by the same expression in french, which really uses the word "cup" as in "a cup of tea" ? I don't know if the relation is the same in english, but that really really sucks in french ! Would have been so much better and simplier to, let's say, use the word "coupe" as in "world cup", and not "cup of tea", which in french are different words... I mean... ****... you know what ? it sounds like a real old fashioned role playing game from the seventies, you know the feeling I mean ?
Doom Track ? "Fate Scale", they chose. Holly s, Fate Scale ! Come on ! For the normal skills, they, well, kind of made a proper translation, can't deny that. But guess what : on the booklet, I checked for the situations examples, and I discovered that they translated the monters's names too - well, couldn't avoid it, I guess. But ****... **** ! How could you actually be scared and have to make an horror check against..... THE VERY OLD THING !!!!!! ... can't guess ? "Elder Thing", yeah... No need to tell you that in french, it DOES make you smile. They even talk about a monster in the example I absolutely can't find which one it is ! Do you know anything about a "Stellar Larva ?!" ****... and guess what ! The Curiositie Shoppe ? THE BOUTIQUE OF SOUVENIRS !!! ahahah... ah, hell.
Ok, I'll stop here, you might find me annoying. Sorry, I just... I just hate all that craps, I can't help

ps this has made me realise how much fun it would be to make a Strange Aeons version of the original game as if it had been badly translated into, oh I dunno Russian? Cantonese?, and then once again badly back translated. So you would have the same images but odd names and ambiguous text on the car... well maybe scratch that last point

Didn't get if you were kiddin (sorry !) so just in case I'll answer : very old thing is the elder thing (from atMoM) and the boutique is the curiositie shoppe... still, since I already said that previously, I fear I'm right believing you were joking !
