So I played this Agenda and the players chose to a different Side Mission. so I get Vader's card as a reward, but what do I do with him? can I play him in any coming mission for 18 threat? or how does this work? and for how long will I have him?

you can add him to the open groups for any mission. If you ever think you will have 18 threat (perhaps if they ever bring a unique ally), throw him in your hand. He wrecks people.
