ive seen a few firsprays poping up in the area. I haven't seen and 1 iggy ships that do well. and ive been trying a few things but have to admit bodyguard dosent seem to preform as good as I thought it would.

The Falcon wins more partly because there are more Falcons. Imagine for the sake of argument that all the lists are perfectly balanced and have an equal chance of winning. If over half the lists are Falcons which one is going to win the most?

Actually, the data from List Juggler disagrees with you there. If you compare the % of people that brought a Falcon to a tournament (based on points spent) and the % of Falcons in the elimination rounds, and the Falcon is over represented in the elimination rounds by 23%.

Meaning that if you take the % of Falcons in the elimination rounds and divide it by the % of Falcons in the field overall (just looking at Store Championships), you get 1.23 or 123%. If Falcons were only doing well because everyone's using them and not because they have an advantage over the rest of the field, then we'd see a results/usage number that is closer to 100%, like the YT-2400. 100% would mean that the same % of Falcons that entered the tournament are being represented in the elimination rounds.

For comparison, the Decimator overperforms its attendance by 30% (10.5% of the overall field, 13.66% of elimination rounds), the Phantom's presence in the elimination rounds matches its overall attendance, slightly overperforming by 0.7%, and the X-Wing is horribly underrepresented in elimination rounds compared to overall attendance, underperforming by ~38%.
