Well done ! I initially was like 'eh, they look fine unpainted'.
But now that I've seen what people are doing, I'm far past that now.. I'm going to have to bust out the paints.
I'm curious on how they all look from playing height/distance.

Plastic + heat + time = bent. Not a lot that can be done but reverse the process once they are out of the packaging. It is a very minor problem. I got 2 cores and only a few (<5) of the 36 of them were noticeably bent. It also has a really quick solution, literally takes 5 minutes to fix. To call it a problem at all is probably giving it too much credit.
I really get tired of hearing how expensive Armada and Imperial Assault are and how the quality should be so much better. YOU ARE GETTING ONE OF THE BEST GAMES ON THE MARKET AT AN INCREDIBLE DEAL. Seriously, people mast have gotten spoiled by how cheap and high quality X-Wing was/is I guess. Check out basically any other minis-based game if you want to see how ridiculously under costed FFG's offerings are....

Yea, because I don't whine constantly about the cost or how everything isn't 100% perfect utopia world where I don't have to do any work, that makes me a "fan boy".
Literally every other thread has had at least one person complaining about the price for some reason or another. It's getting old.
