Entry : $5 for the 10 week league
Scoring : We will use an achievement point system for scoring. This is to accommodate new players for a nascent games. All games must be played at Geek City to count (or near a Geek City booth at a convention). The achievements will be broadly grouped into categories:

Participation: Each player can gain +2pts/week for playing at least 1 game that week. There is no weekly max of games once can play, but playing at least 1 will get the participation achievement for that week.

Outreach : Playing people within the league is nice and all, but this is a brand new game, and as early adopters we are ambassadors for the new community. +2pts/person for demonstrating the game to another player who is not a member of the league (once per person). Note: you cannot gain Diversity and Flawless Formation achievements while playing someone outside the league, but you can gain Participation.

Diversity: Ship titles and Commanders will provide +1pt for playing with that upgrade, and +1pt for winning with that upgrade. You can gain 1pt per listed upgrade per mode (‘playing’ and ‘winning’) once throughout the league.

Flawless Formation: This is a catch-all for wacky and random things happening during a game. Did a TIE Fighter Squadron land the killing blow of a ship? +1pt! Was your CR90 the lone survivor? +2pt! This will have an assortment of achievements worth point values between +1 and +3. See below the FAQ for descriptions.
Reporting : There will be a binder at Geek City in which each player will store their record sheet. There will be a single record sheet for the duration of the league per player.
Prizes : Based on total number of players and announced several weeks into the league. We will mostly distribute items from an Armada tournament kit.

What is this game? I don’t know how to play.
A:
Come in on Thursday evenings and learn to play! There will be lots of players on hand who welcome the opportunity to introduce a new player.

Can I join after the league has started?
A:
Yes. You can start to accumulate points once you’ve paid your entry fee.
Q:
Can I play games not on league nights?
A:
There is no ‘league night’ for Armada, though I expect most people will attempt to play on Thursdays along side the X-Wing league.

What is a scoring week?
A:
A scoring week is Monday – Sunday. With one exception: the last week will end on Thursday 6/4.

What game types can we play?
A:
For league, you can play either: the 150-180pt Demo game or a 300pt game. As long as both players agree: any of the alternate rules are allowed (no objectives, unlimited, rounds, etc).
Q:
What about Wave 1 ships (Gladiator, Assault Frigate, etc)?
A:
If they are in normal circulation by May 11 (doubtful...), there will be additional achievements added in the same manner as above. Otherwise, they are legal for play, but will not contribute anything, uniquely, to the league.

Flawless Formation Achievements

All guns to bear
- Attack the same enemy ship from two different sections of your ship in the same round.
TIE Fighter, the video game
- Land the killing blow on a ship with a TIE Fighter Squadron.
Surprise!
- Do damage to the enemy’s hull while attacking their aft section from your fore.
Incoming fighters!
- Attack 3 or more squadrons with a single attack.
Assault/Defense/Navigation Winner
- Win a game using the noted objective type (3 different achievements)

CR90 survivor
- Win a game where your only ship or squadron left on the board is a CR90.
Not dead yet
- Control a ship with 1 hull remaining and full shields.
There’s too many of them
- Attack the same ship with 3 or more squadrons in a single round.
Not a scratch
- Win the game with having only 1 hull point remaining (total) on your ship.
Broadside of a barn
- Suffer no damage after your foe rolled 4 or more die at close range.
Kaboom
- Destroy a CR90 or Nebulon-B with only faceup damage cards.*
Close only matters…
- Win a 300pt game where you discarded all of your defense tokens

- Win a 300pt game without fielding any squadrons.
Collection plate
- Have one of each command token at the same time.
Trifecta
- Roll at least one of each color die during a single attack.
She’s gonna blow
- Destroy a VSD with only faceup damage cards.*
Total annihilation
- Win a 300pt game by destroying all of your opponents ships
and squadrons
in 6 rounds or less
*ie: it has no facedown cards when it is destroyed. The shields do not have to be intact to get the achievement.
