Force power move: Range upgrade

Hi, I have doubt with this power, in the book it reads:

·The user may spend 0 to move one object of silhouette 0 that is within short range up to his maximum range. The default maximum range is short range.
Then the Range upgrade says:
· Spend 0 to increase the maximum range at which the Force user can move objects by a number of range bands equal to the number of Range upgrades purchased.

Do I understand correctly that you can only target things at short range? and that range upgrades only affect how far away from you can you move them?

By default a Force user can move an object at short range. If I activate all three range upgrades, would my character be able to move an object that is starting at Extreme range from my character, or just move an object from short range all the way to extreme range if I want?

To your second question, range upgrades increase the range that you can start effecting objects.

I talked to Sam about the thread while he was at GamerNation Con, he admitted that when has a chance to work on the next Errata release, reviewing the thread will be the first thing he'll do.

Hopefully once Force and Destiny is off to the printers, his schedule will free up enough to allow him to do an Errata release.
