Maybe the title is a bit overkill but it was an excellent roll. Here's the set-up:
- Played learn to play scenario.
- I played the Imperials.
- After 5 turns I manage to get a full front shot at the Nebulon-B side with zero shields left
- Roll 6 dice. 7 hits including one critical!
- Scratch one Nebulon-B.
We decided to play until all ships were destroyed so I ultimately lost while trying to turn the lumbering Victory and the back edge of the base went 1/32" off the FFG Death Star playmat. 1/32"!
What else did I learn?
- Standard TIE's almost useless without initiative.
- The Victory can still hand out decent damage from the sides.
- Repair is your friend.
- Having a concentrate fire at the exact right time is very fun.
- Rebel players should stay away from the front of Victory.
