Yup, this is almost like an attack! What kind of prevention measures do you think it would be possible to take?
Limit new posters to one new topic, per day, maybe? Create rules to autodelete topics posted by the same user with the same subject line?
I would say decloaking before anyone starts posting would work...

Well they are cleared up right now and I can't find anymore of those spam threads. But yes it may be an easy fix of deleting the fake user accounts. However stopping these attacks and preventing them is another. The current user sign up methods is not stopping these fake accounts as they should.
One thing for sure is that these forums are vulnerable during the weekends when the admin isn't watching.
